So, it seems you have joined Discord server or you have not, well... That's a great start for conversating with others. Here's list of things why you want to join this server:
You joined this server because you wanna say hi to the other Uberduck fellas.
You joined this server because you want add your character to Uberduck immediately.
You joined this server because... I dunno, to have fun?
Well trust me I'll walk you through for most Uberduck's discord server in a way!
Most people don't know how to join Uberduck discord server and don't know which Discord link is, that's okay. We can find it ourselfs very easy.
First, you go to the website just like you did before (*cough* https://uberduck.ai)
Then scroll it down till you find socials:
Then you see that icon next to TikTok? Yes, this is where you are clicking on.
AND WOW, YOU ARE DONE. YOU HAVE NOW JOINED OFFICIAL UBERDUCK'S DISCORD SERVER!
*cough* Sorry, got carried away. Anyways moving on...
Okay cool you have joined Uberduck's discord server, nice. Okay here's where things getting start it. First let's look at the channels.
I'll try to read by on category channels but it'll work same for channels:
FYI: Meaning "for your information" (read urban dictionary). This is where important things are, announcements, answers, notebooks and more. Most importantly, read the rules please?
🦆Uberduck: Basically general on that category. But there's also machine learning channel where you can share Ai technology from other people.
Support is most likely a help channel, where you have problem with the model or you have problem with training, they'll be able to assist you in no time.
Bug Reports is where you found bugs on Uberduck's website, if you found a bug, report it right away and zwf will try fix it as much as he can.
Security, I am not 100% sure what that is but most likely most wanted people or something, I dunno.
Voice suggestions, THIS. THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD REQUEST. We'll talk about in Do's and Don'ts
Off-topic: Well if it has nothing uberduck or text to speech in general then you can just go for random channel, gaming channel where you can show off gaming skills and emoji-suggestions... Yeah I'm not 100% if they'll add your emoji on your server, only ducks okay? Good.
International: Basically, if you cannot speak English international is always come to an help, you can speak with others who can't speak English.
Community: Okay, probably you want to upload your model or something else. That's where you should do that.
How can I access that? I cannot see any channels in here.
Well here's a thing. You go to #access alright? and you see that duck pog emoji thing? Yeah that's where you should click or tap on.
AND BOOM YOU ARE IN! however, if this bot didn't give you role, dm any admins, they'll help you out.
Media: This is where you post stuff you made with uberduck and especially on that channel, #fun-synthesis, yeah, this is where they all play around with uberduck bot. Speaking of which we'll check on uberduck bot later on. For now, moving on.
Quacking: Yeah that's just bot testing channel don't mind. even vc is here, cool.
Music-production: Sometimes if you are a musician and you have done vocals with uberduck then go for it, share your stuff in there.
Okay that's cool and all, but where's the modmail or inform an admin about a problem?
Here's a thing, you don't ping one of a admin for it, well unless. The only one thing to do is this:
No matter if you need assistances or anything, just let em know via ticket. However, if they won't respond for the ticket, well... Few things, busy and stuff. Try pinging one admin I dunno. And remember not to make ticket for no reason or you'll get warning, just saying.
And well, that's pretty much sums up the category and channels, sheesh. Alright let's move on to do's and don'ts.
Alright here's a thing where we are getting started. This is where you'll do and you'll do not act on server.
There's this person that needs help, what should I tell him?
Well here's a thing:
DO: Help a person and if anything nothing helps, ask others to help with you.
DON'T: Asking person to like "Go figure out yourself" I mean, sure googling might help but there will be no info in there.
That kid just annoys me in general, what am I suppose to do?
DO: Block him, mute him and inform admins for it. No matter if that kid annoys you just create a ticket and let them handle for it.
DON'T: Flood the entire chat to scapegoat that person. We don't need to gang up on a guy and screech at him nonstop, that solves nothing. Also, don't bring them up again on completely unrelated instances. It's annoying, no one is gonna know or care about who you're talking about.
OWO, can u pwease add this character on uberduck? pls he's my favorite character and he is so cool soothing voice.
Okay, chill first and second. Let's do one thing:
DO: Go to #voice-suggestions, that way you won't annoy people with it. Don't worry if they ignore it your character, just don't spam it okay?
DON'T: Please, please for the love of god, don't say it in general, dm's and any channels. Seriously you are embarrassing yourself to all users that they see it on your message. Literally they might call you a kid, seriously i'm not joking. Of course especially requesting character on DM, that's also counts as annoying, so please don't do that.
OMG I JUST EVEN DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, HOW CAN I MAKE THIS VOICE MODEL LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
CHILL! okay? chill. You are reading this right now on this guide, but here's a thing. I'll do one thing:
DO: Go to #answers and read my guide there, that way you'll be able to understand. Oh wait, you are reading it right now haha.
DONT'S: Like don't ask, too much really, There's guide to be made, like myself and most likely if you keep asking, then uh... that would be much trouble for you.
If there's anything for do's and don'ts please let us know.
Well that's pretty much it I could say, if there's anything to add please let us know on Uberduck discord, which you are in. All in that, feel free to read guide on how to make your own voice model and stuff in this page, which we'll start here:
