🤔Which Sources Should I Start?

Alright, first of all, let's think about what should we do with characters or celebrities. No matter what you wanna do from different sources. So let's go over one by one.

Keep in mind characters with gibberish doesn't gonna work the way it is (for example Friday Night Funkin, which the only Boyfriend does is BEEP BOOP.)

From a TV show or a cartoon or a movie.

Ah, I see you want your favorite character from your favorite TV show or a movie or a cartoon as a voice model.

I see, but you see, they sometimes have noises or music, which I'll explain in a bit.

But if they have let's say 5.1 audio (if you don't know, that's 6 tracks in total on your audio editor) then you are definitely in luck because that's gotta be a clear isolated voice.

But sometimes sound effects will be appearing on the 3rd track so choose lines wisely.

Oh yeah, and 3rd track is the only one you need for voices. Take a look at this picture:

So what we can see is that they are 5 speakers in total.

In front, there will be 3 tracks in total. Which left and rights are music and sound effects.

The middle one must be voices and sound effects.

Back those two are low freq sounds but we don't probably need them since we are doing voice only.

So 3rd track is your best bet.

You can find it some in iTunes, Netflix, Hulu, or even Amazon Prime.

Those are the best bets. But let's say CN, Nick or Disney VOD can sometimes have 2.0 (stereo or two tracks) and if you are in luck to find those in 5.1, good for you.

From a video game.

That's actually not a bad choice from a video game. You can actually extract character's lines from the game, but you gonna have to google it.

Since some extraction sound files require some additional tools.

Let's say Team Fortress 2 right? and you want Scout? You need GCFScape to extract tf2 sound files.

You can look it up on youtube tutorial or google it because this is not all in one tutorial, it's a voice model tutorial.

From an audiobook.

Also not a bad choice for audiobooks, but be sure to careful with music and sounds. I never have done audiobooks before but you'll find some tools that it'll work.

From interviews and podcasts.

Interviews and podcasts are your best bets. Trough getting celebrities voices is that interviews or podcasts. Sometimes podcasts can play a little background music so try grabbing with no music to it.

Wrapping up...

Well if you had picked your favorite characters then let's get this show on the road and begin making a voice model.

One more thing, if you wanna do voice models for example Youtuber or someone else, then do so try contacting them (via Twitter DM, Instagram DM, or Email) if they say no then don't do it or probably do it on your private way but don't even do public. They may sometimes be upset or worried that ai voices gonna be in very big trouble, so be careful what you do with celebrity's voices.
